Press Release: New Hire, Andrew Bakey

Andy HeadshotEvolution Energy Partners is pleased to announce and welcome Andrew Bakey as Vice President of Business Development.  Andy will be responsible for the leadership of the Evolution Energy Partners sales team, developing new business opportunities and creating customized solutions to meet customer’s energy needs.

Andrew has over 31 years of experience in the energy industry.  He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Villanova University and has an MBA in Finance from Temple University.  Andrew also has an energy management diploma from the University of Wisconsin as well as having his Professional Engineering License in PA and NJ.

Andrew is well known in the energy industry.  In the early part of his career, Andrew worked at PECO Energy as an Account Executive handling the large pharmaceutical and chemical companies.  He also was a Senior Engineer for PECO energy performing hundreds of energy audits for large commercial and industrial customers.  Andrew was Senior VP of Product Development and Sales for Powerweb Technologies which built demand response software for utilities and end use customers.  He spent time as a senior consultant for EPEX where he aggregated and purchased power for the Atlantic City Casinos.

In addition, Andrew has a proven record of facilitating long term business relationships with over 17 years of experience selling electricity, natural gas, and oil for several companies including Conectiv Energy, Reliant Energy, Direct Energy, PPL EnergyPlus, Talen Energy and now Evolution Energy Partners.  His expertise is educating and consulting with the largest buyers in the country.  He has sold over $2 Billion dollars’ worth of commodity.

His personality, knowledge, and commitment to serving customers are key assets that will complement and enhance Evolution Energy Partners’ ability to meet the needs of our customers as we continue to grow and provide quality, innovative solutions.
